Case Study 1 – Digital Training

Project Design Digital Training for a Salesforce Implementation  

DPA was engaged to work with a wide range of stakeholders to build learning/support materials and up-skill audiences internally and externally. The project involved a new CRM.

 Brief

The government department has been actively designing and building a technology platform to support the delivery of and enhance practices. The technology solution impacted a range of internal stakeholders employed in a range of roles in a very short period.

The Capability Framework details the components needed to build skills in the use of the system, enhance practices through real time information and access to digital mobile plug-ins that will enable collaboration between professionals and improve information quality.

 Solution

DPA was engaged to develop the Learning and Capability Framework using information that is available and accurate at the time of the engagement. The inputs to the process included:

  • Review of a range of the BRD,  technical documents and practice procedures
  • Review of business flows and end to end critical practice scenarios
  • One to one interviews with specialist staff and program consultants
  • Design Micro and E Learning programs
  • Delivery of a series of polot workshops to define the learning structure and content
  • Regular engagement and updates to project managers on progress
  • Development of a learning deployment timeline depicting the lead-up, cutover and post implementation ROI

Results

The following deliverables were presented to the client on time and to brief:

  • A customised Learning Curriculum
  • Validated impacted employee roles
  • Module Outlines structure and samples
  • Facilitator Guide structure and samples
  • Learning Scenarios to be used in materials
  • Role and Profile Summary for non-department audiences
  • Final status report.

Face to Face Corporate – Managing Change

Brief

This Corporate client faced multiple change initiatives after a CEO led restructure and with more on the way, they knew it was a strategic priority to equip its leaders with the skills and practical tools to lead themselves, and their teams, through change. This investment in leadership capability and change capacity would serve their new leadership model and the delivery of ongoing strategic change initiatives.

Our client was looking for a high impact facilitated learning program that was 90 minutes or less, that could be filmed for ongoing electronic distribution and value. The client was seeking facilitated delivery sessions for large audiences of 80 -120 in multiple cities around Australia.

Solution

As a broad training firm, DPA was able to quickly assess, recommend and formulate a customised program for lifting change maturity and readiness for leaders. The program included interactive exercises, practice tools and engaging videograpghy content for delivery to large audiences.

This tailored session included a co-designed session plan that aligned specifically with the learning outcomes of the company’s capability program. Everything from the look and feel of the content, to the relevance of the examples, was customized to suit the client’s audience and to compel them to action.

Participants received guidance, exposure, and experience, with easy to use tools and concepts to apply in the workplace. And for those that couldn’t attend in person, there was access to high-quality recordings of the event in a professionally produced and edited online format.

The end result was a succinct and targeted change learning program delivered in numerous locations to large audiences with:

  1. Research based learning content
  2. Videography and micro learning
  3. Detailed PPT slides incorporating the client’s branding
  4. Interactive exercises with real time digital audience polling and interaction
  5. Expert facilitation by credible change experts

Results

The leadership education was a success. The participants who were surveyed post the training indicated a high level of change readiness.
